Domaine Corton Maréchaudes struck gold with their choice of land in Aloxe, as the soil composition is very similar to the Cote de Nuits region. Horses work the land instead of tractors, and careful attention to detail is employed in their farming methods. The result is a stunningly balanced red Burgundy.
