Cantabrian anchovies are renowned throughout Spain for their intense flavor and smooth texture. Arroyabe have been catching and preparing these fish in the waters off of Cantabria since 1898. Aged for a minimum of three months in salt filled barrels. The anchovies are then washed by hand and packed in Spanish Olive Oil to ensure their texture remains perfect. Use in sauces, salads and on pizzas for an extra umami kick.
