The founders of Fond-Cyprès, Rodolphe Gianesini & Laetitia Ourliac, inhabit a particularly dreamy corner of the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Gorgeous, flourishing forests and gardens abound, they’ve been certified organic since 2006. They grow a wide variety of typical French grapes, but their wines are anything but typical.

This Syrah is surprisingly fruit forward, but with all the herbs and earth you’d expect layered in there. Medium bodied with delicate tannins and a juiciness that subtly eases in. A delight.
