In an effort to keep everyone healthy and safe, while still offering a fulfilling, transportive experience, the Dedalus Wine Bar will now be a operating on a counter service model.

Some of our favorite dining memories are saying 'yes' to the unfamiliar at Mercado de San Miguel, hovering over glass counters that overflow with aroma, color, and texture - evoking the oceanside vineyards of Rías Baixas or the steep slopes of the Sierra de Gredos.

Our chef has collected classic dishes from our most loved wine regions, and of course our wine director has curated a list of wines to match. We want you to have fun here, grab a bottle, pour for your friends, reach across the table, talk a little too loudly.

HOW COUNTER SERVICE WORKS

All seating is first come, first serve. We are no longer accepting reservations.
 
How it works:
 
1. Our host will greet you at the door. We’ll seat you at a table with menus.
2. When you’re ready to order, head up to the counter. Most of the food is on display, but there are some items the kitchen prepares to order. Our staff is happy to make wine recommendations based on your food choices. Let us take complete control.
3. We’ll give you a tray to carry your wine and cold plates back to the table. We’ll also give you a table number for items fired from the kitchen.
5. When your hot food is ready, we’ll bring it to you.
6. When you’d like more food or wine, head back up to the counter. Repeat.
6. When you’re ready to leave, we ask that you bus your table.
 
We’ve also decided to offer retail pricing for all bottles. We want to celebrate the wines we love and keep great wine accessible. And, best of all, if you love a wine you enjoyed at the wine bar, you can grab it at the shop.

Dedalus vs COVID-19

In order to keep our employees and guests safe, we are following all CDC and VT Health Dept. guidelines. When you arrive:

  • -Wear a mask, or a cloth covering that covers your nose and mouth completely until you are seated. Please wear this mask when away from your table.
  • -Bring a mobile device so you can view our menu online!
