Just over the border from Alsace sits Germany’s Pfalz region, historically one of the world’s most lauded sources of top-tier Riesling. In this particular microclimate for Riesling production, small producers like the Brand brothers have been setting up shop and experimenting with biodynamics and natural winemaking.
Their dry Pfalz Riesling grabs you on the nose with notes of chalky minerals, lime zest, and fresh herbs. On the palate you’ll find this white fresh and lively with piercing acidity and a dry, crisp finish. The perfect accompaniment to fresh cheeses and springtime salads or–even better–spicy Asian cuisine. Given the zippy, thirst-quenching nature of this wine, they’ve taken the liberty of bottling it in a 1 liter bottle for our refreshment.
