Beto Fernandez is on a mission to help farmers in the Valle Itata convert their vineyards to organics and biodynamics. He started out as a sommelier in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia, but soon found his way to Chile and began making his own wines. Through Leoncio, his label, he gives them a market for wines made from their ancient vineyards. This Pais, balanced with a bit of Aramon and Cinsault, comes from 150-year-old vines.
