Andrea Reale Costa d’Amalfi Cardamone Rosso 2019

Luigi Reale’s vines are extremely old, by European standards — over 100 years. They avoided the phylloxera epidemic that decimated Europe’s vines because of the unique soil, which doesn’t support the pest. This deep, fresh, fruit-forward wine is made entirely from the local varieties Piedirosso and Tintori di Tramonti. Ancient vines and unique soil give them the perfect structure to carry off notes of plum, spice, and pepper with a long finish.
