Marsanne and Roussanne are white varieties from the Rhône. Here planted in the Columbia Gorge they exhibit the classic richness and tropicality but with a rip of acidity. A trace of sweetness takes the wine to a dramatic level. Crunchy pear skin dominates the nose. Try with foie gras pate or rustic terrine.
