Lionel Faury captures all the richness this Northern Rhone appellation has to offer. This St. Joseph is deep and spicy with healthy tannin, black pepper, and bright fruit. A savory wine that would pair beautifully with herbed lamb or a rustic stew.
This nod to Cote Rotie is mostly Syrah with a hint of Viognier, lending some elegance and lighthearted floral aromatics. This wine is five years old, and only starting to develop subtle hints of maturity, with vibrant notes of blueberry, roasted herbs, and earth. The tannins are silky and well-integrated, with ample acidity and freshness.
