Montesecano Pinot Blanc Quebradilla 2021

While Chilean photographer Julio Donoso was traveling through Europe, establishing his career, he met Andre Ostertag, a winemaking master of Alsace. When Julio returned to his native Casablanca Valley, he and André started this project together. Their Pinot Blanc, perhaps a callback to Alsace, is totally at home in the Quebradilla vineyard. This wine is fermented partially on its skins, with native yeasts, and the rest in concrete. It ages for 10 months in concrete before bottling. You’ll find notes of peaches and apricots, wildflowers, and herbs.
