Jean-Paul Dubost’s extremely intentional winemaking translates to a glass of wine that drinks far above its price point. Everything is attended to from the vines to the cellar, and each wine is treated uniquely rather than employing one blanket winemaking style. When it comes to his Morgon Ballofière, the wine speaks to the high-elevation vineyards it comes from with a refreshing juiciness, and to the schist and sandy soil with a distinct minerality.

This unicorn bottle is Beaujolais for Beaujolais lovers. It’s for people who appreciate that attention to detail and  who enjoy the hard work of a true craftsman. Expect those beautiful Beaujolais red and blue fruit notes with a solid earthy backbone. It’s both easy and serious at the same time, making it a perfect fit for entertaining a dinner party or just a casual, cozy night in.
