Enzo Boglietti Dolcetto d’Alba 2019

Enzo Boglietti grew up in La Morra region of Piedmont raising cows and making cheese alongside his father. When circumstance forced them out of the dairy business, he started looking at the family vineyards through new eyes. Today he organically farms vines in Comuni of La Morra, Barolo, Monforte, Serralunga d’Alba, Roddino e Sinio. 

This Dolcetto is juicy and bold — moreso than most Dolcetto. It's ready to drink now but can age for up to 7 years, pretty impressive for a wine of this price point. Look for notes of black fruits, plums, cocoa, and violet.
