There’s nothing more profound than well-made, mature Barolo. Guido Porro’s is a textbook example, capable of serious seduction on the table. Ripe black cherry fruit dominate with supporting notes of jasmine tea, autumn leaves, rose, and licorice. Decant today or hide away for a few years in the cellar.
Emilia-Romagna is the home to the delicious red bubbly we all love with pizza, but Lambrusco isn’t the only fabulous frizzante coming from this region. Pignoletto is a lightly sparkling white wine - crisp, subtly herbal, satiating like a crunch piece of watermelon on a hot summer day. Enjoy with a BLT on a picnic blanket.
You’re as likely to find Burgundy’s star white grape as you are Nebbiolo in this northern Italian region. But Paolo Ferri’s highly drinkable white is meant for immediate fun — it comes in party-ready liter water bottles. With three days of skin-contact, it’s juicy and bright with notes of tropical fruit.

Slightly reductive and enchanting. It’s what we would call a “serious” rosé, one that demands its spotlight, and puts on a damn good show.
Drinking this Bandol Rosé is the perfect way to spend warm summer days by the beach, on the boat or just hanging on the porch. This wine demonstrate’s its complexity and depth with every swirl and sip. Stock up on these bottles while the warm weather lasts!
Between vegetable farming and tinkering with his motorcycle, Régis Minet makes beautiful, precise, textbook Loire Sauvignon Blanc. You couldn't ask for a better summer white to accompany you poolside or paired with Sage Farm Sterling cheese!
