This wine is made from a blend of mostly Zinfandel with Palomino. It’s shockingly refreshing — the kind of juice you would want to be drinking as hot wind whips against your cheeks just outside the city limits. Coming from the historic Lopez Vineyard, planted in 1912, it’s bright and juicy, with concentrated fruit, a dark spice, loads of acidity, and a whisper of tannin. It’s glam. It’s melodic.
