Cuna de Piedra Chocolates

Mexican Terroir Through Heirloom Chocolate Bars

Cuna de Piedra is a passionate group of chocolate lovers who celebrate the history and terroir of their native Mexican cacao and the add-ins that augment their unique and delicious chocolate bars. Going beyond single origin, these bars are sourced from a single grower, Malaquias, who cultivates cacao on a diverse farm in the state of Tabasco, where his trees grow alongside citruses and black pepper vines. His fruity, almost raisin-y cacao is partnered with ingredients like smoked heirloom chiles, two-year-old mezcal from Matatlan, Oaxaca, and flowers from some of the oldest Hibiscus trees in the Americas. The resulting chocolate bars capture Mexican terroirs perfectly and provide a rich accompaniment to exceptional wines.
