Guillaume was introduced to a Chardonnay from the Jura while dining at a restaurant in Paris. He was blown away by the parallels between the wine in his glass and the wines of his native Burgundy. Today Guillaume cultivates some of the best plots in the Jura for Domaine du Pelican. Most of the land has never been touched by chemicals and is farmed biodynamically. Domaine Marquis d'Angerville wines are extremely allocated so if you aren't able to get your hands on his Burgundy bottlings (which we highly recommend!), his Domaine du Pelican wines are a fantastic way to explore this incredible winemaker!
