When it comes to sake, the norm is to purchase rice. More weight is placed on the grade of the rice than where it comes from, or how it's farmed. Oku Hiroaki takes things a step further; the current leader of the historic Akishika Shuzō is as "farm-to-bottle" as it gets. He biodynamically farms his own rice fields and follows the traditional methods developed by his family over the last century.

This unfiltered sake is medium-bodied, flavorful, and complex.
