Lavantureux Chablis 2022

You might not know it, but the bucolic region of Chablis produces apex Chardonnay. The wines can be gorgeous and pure, with an intensity and complexity that is hard to match. Chablis' vineyards are planted on top of a sort of magic primordial mix of soils that gifts us with super delicious, distinct wines. Much like the ancient village of Chablis, the wines are tethered to what defines France. They are the beautiful, hand-crafted products of a proud tradition and has all but disappeared.

This hallmark bottling from Lavantureux is brimming with incredible aromatics of lime leaf, ripe grapefruit, ginger, peach, flint and fresh hay. Beautifully textured with a juicy, zingy mineral edge, it’s a joy to drink on its own and wonderful at the table with fish, seafood, or roast chicken.
